Andy has been working alongside Forest Lodge Veterinary Practice for the last six months.
This has provided an excellent opportunity to work with the nursing team at Forest Lodge and to enhance the surgical capabilities at the practice. We have helped some super pets during this time.
Most of the work we do involves broken bones and dislocated joints.
We have also performed surgery for cruciate ligament injuries. It has been so pleasing to see how much the nurses and vets at Forest Lodge care about their patients. At VetFix we are passionate about providing an independent, high quality and affordable service. Our priority is always the patient.
Andy has over ten years of experience in both first opinion and referral practice. At the PDSA he advanced to senior veterinarian and became a successful clinical team leader.
He was in the first cohort to achieve the CertAVP(GSAS). In 2011 he left the UK to work at James Cook University in North Queensland. He then completed an extended internship at an orthopaedic and neurosurgical referral practice in the UK and is now studying towards the RCVS Diploma in orthopaedics. He is currently the managing director at VetFix.
