I am afraid I forgot to take the name of the lovely vet who helped us on Friday evening. My husband thinks her name was Kate.
I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to her for all she did. I can honestly say that loosing Charlie so suddenly is the worst thing that we have been through. We are devastated.
She was amazing from start to finish and I can honestly say I have never met such a kind person..without her we would have been truly lost, she has made this awful time a Little bit easier knowing that we have had to leave Charlie with a practice who obviously love and care for the animals they see.
Oscar, our remaining dog appears to be coping quite well, he looked for Charlie a bit over the weekend, but when you hear people talk of their dogs pining it sounds unbearable, as she took the time to let Oscar say goodbye.
He is doing really well. Again thanks to her kindness, we just wouldn't have known to do that, our instinct would have been to not let Oscar see his best mate like that.
We will never get over loosing Charlie and are still finding it very hard without him. He was the most amazing, daft, clumsy and loving mutt you would ever wish for.
Please pass on our most sincere thanks and we will await your call to bring our baby boy home.
